Meet The Michael Homes Team
Whether new construction, infill, renovation or garage suite, we build what you want, where you want it.
Our Story.
Michael Homes Inc. was named after our owner & founder Michael Thibert. In the custom home building business for over three decades, Michael is most motivated by family. As an exceptional Edmonton Home Builder, we pride ourselves on treating every client like they are part of the family. This results in custom homes built to specification with care and attention.
At Michael Homes Inc., our strength lies in the versatility and expertise of our incredible team. We use only the most qualified tradespeople and suppliers, ensuring that your new home meets and exceeds all of your highest expectations. Our commitment to these standards means that your new residence will be more than just your new house; it will be your new home.
Our Fearless Leader.
Michael has never said no to a challenge and welcomes the projects most big box builders shy away from. Whether intricately detailed specifications or elaborate, multi-step installations, Michael makes sure the job is done right the first time.
It has been said that Michael’s greatest reward is to see that smile of relief on the client’s face when they take possession of their new home and it’s exactly what they wanted. Not only are they thrilled with the result, but surprised at how smooth the process was to achieve it.
Michael is the most hands on builder you will ever meet. He prides himself on communication and will be your first and last point of contact on every project.

“We want to design the perfect place for you to be able to share stories with your children, or grandchildren, over family dinners.”

Custom Home
Building Is A Discipline.
While many home builders offer customization as an add on, Michael Homes Inc. has made custom home building—and all that it entails—central to its business. To build custom means:
- possessing great attention to detail
- being adaptable to unforeseen site conditions
- demonstrating strong communication skills, and
- the necessary work ethic to deliver on what’s been promised
